Goal: Collect One Million Pennies by May 16, 2009Tired of seeing those brown coins all over the countertop? Is the piggy-bank or water bottle overflowing? Let us relieve you of these pesky coins! Collect pennies from neighbors, family members and friends. If you live out of town/out of state and wish to contribute, we will accept a check. Unlike "back a yaad" copper money has value in the U.S. South Florida is starting a "Penny Drive" that will be on-going thru May 2009. All YOU have to do is gather up the pennies and call 954-240-3296 or email us at

. We will do the pick-up and wrapping then off to the bank we go. At our monthly meetings we will count/wrap/bank and give you a progress report. If we make our goal by next May (and I know we can), that translates to $10,000 which will be a tremendous help to our alma mater. We’re "counting" on you! |
HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM "SUNNY" SOUTH FLORIDA
Let's pray that our friends and family
have a wonderful and spiritual holiday season
that will live long in their memory.
And as we anticipate the new year , let's believe that anything is possible
as long as we have faith in ourselves,
God, and in those we love. You'll be in our thoughts and prayers this holiday season

CONGRATULATIONS!!! The Ministry of Education has approved the Board’s recommendation of Mr. Richard Thompson as Principal of Titchfield High School, effective January 2009. Mr. Thompson is a native of St. Mary and taught at Titchfield from 1998-2005 when he resigned to accept a position as Principal at an All-Age School. He returned to Titchfield in 2007 as Vice Principal and immediately assumed the role of Acting Principal during Mrs. McKenzie’s illness. Mr. Thompson is committed to bringing Titchfield back to its “glory days”. He has the drive, the passion and the focus to accomplish great things for our alma mater and regain it’s status in all areas. To this end, he has the full support of the Alumni community. Congratulations to Mr. Thompson on a well-deserved promotion. |
